PROJECTS
Sargomma SB / Ciffo together again in the new project: CON TATTO, the sensorial installation at the Lucento Castle
Sargomma SB actively supports the AIEF Foundation through the adoption of a 'sensory room' dedicated to Touch in the Accademia dei Sensi at the Lucento Castle. The installation of Alessandro Ciffo is made of colored silicone, worked by the artist using a texture designed to allure the tactile sense. As the plaque placed in the room in honor of Sargomma SB's commitment states: "Touch is a complex, extraordinary and universal sense. Sargomma SB, by donating this installation, symbolically dedicates it to the young people who represent our future, united in the discovery of their own self".
DOWNTOWN DESIGN-DUBAI DESIGN WEEK (NOV 2021)
Five days of the Downtown design fair in Dubai, dedicated to design, beauty and Made in Italy.
Thanks to the opportunity offered by ITA - Italian Trade Agency, the new SKIN product of Sargomma S.r.l. SB was presented: an alternative project that combines art and industry with a view to diversification and sustainability.
The curtain system was created starting from regenerated silicone slabs, created by the creative flair of Alessandro Ciffo, subsequently cut using the Waterjet technology of Sargomma SRL SB.
The unique colour effect, which refers to desert places in honour of the host country, was accompanied by an immersive virtual reality experience.
Ro-Guiltless Plastic Prize 2021
SKIN participated in the 2021 edition of Ro-GUILTLESSPLASTIC, the international project, conceived in 2019, founded and curated by Rossana Orlandi and Nicoletta Orlandi Brugnoni.
The purpose of the contest is to inspire the international creative community to explore new approaches to design and art using innovative materials that derive from the reuse, recycling and infinite possibilities of transformation of polymeric materials.
The exhibition, held at the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan, was held simultaneously with the Milan Design Week from 5th to 12th September and involved ten finalist projects.
With the claim "Please do touch", the SKIN team presented the mock-up of a container covered with regenerated silicone sheets, inviting passers to touch the unique properties of this material with their own hands.
